Prints

Almost every painting here is sold, and almost none of them are reproduced. A very small number have been released as signed, numbered editions — printed on metallic paper and faced in acrylic, which is the only process that carries the depth of the original.

Resin does not survive a flat print. The gloss, the metallic powders and the depth that make these paintings shift as you move past them simply vanish on paper, which is why so few exist and why nothing here is offered as an ordinary giclée. Each print is signed by hand at the press, before the acrylic face is applied — so every one passes through the artist's hands, and the editions stay small on purpose.

Why so few

A resin painting is a surface, not an image. Most of what it does — the depth, the way the colour moves as you cross the room — does not survive being flattened, so most of these are simply never reproduced. Where an edition exists it is because that particular painting survives the translation.

Editions are printed by Nevada Art Printers, signed and numbered by the artist, and shipped anywhere in the United States. Copyright and reproduction rights remain with the artist.
